This is a Global Style tag; it can apply to both characters, clothes, and outfits. An “alternative” style generally includes elements such as multiple or large tattoos, facial piercings, dyed or unconventional hair colors, patched or distressed clothing, or the mixing of several subculture aesthetics (punk, goth, grunge, etc.).
Tagging tips:
If used on a character, avoid applying this tag to obviously non-human fantasy species. For example, an orc covered in tattoos is not “alternative” by default. The fantasy tag is preferred.
This tag may be combined with other Global Style tags when appropriate.
