Tag: fantasy
This is a Global Style tag; it can apply to characters, clothes, accessories, and outfits.
For the "fantasy" style to apply to a character, the character should either belong to a non-human fantasy species (elf, orc, goblin, vampire, succubus, dragonkin, etc.) or present a heavily fantasy-inspired human design. This may include: magical and/or runic motifs and tattoos, otherworldly colors, fantasy-inspired piercings, or an overall fantasy aspect.
For clothes and outfits, a “fantasy” style generally includes elements such as robes, enchanted materials, medieval-ish pieces, and magical motifs.
Tagging tips:
- If the character is a non-human fantasy race, this tag should always be applied.
- Characters with only slightly unusual features (for example: a single glowing piercing, or mildly tinted eyes) should not be tagged with fantasy unless the overall design strongly leans into the style.
- Do not apply fantasy just because the source material is fantasy. A character that is visually just a regular human remains non-fantasy; recognizable details (like a Harry Potter scar) don’t make them a wizard.
