Tag Category: Source Style

This category groups tags that describe how close a card is to an existing fictional character.

Tags in this category:

• original: an original creation, not based on any existing character.
• inspired: loosely inspired by an existing fictional character or franchise, without trying to copy it.
• recreation: a faithful recreation of an existing fictional character.
• parody: a humorous or exaggerated take on an existing fictional character.

Tagging tips:

• Use only one source style tag per card. original is suggested by default at upload: replace it if your card is based on an existing character.
• For recreation and parody, also add the franchise and the character: see the Tag Rules.
• Only fictional characters are allowed. Cards depicting real people are not allowed; see the Upload Rules.

See the Tag List for all official tags.
